A RARE GLIMPSE OF THE CHOREOGRAPHIC TALENT WITHIN THE COMPANY.
RAW • CHALLENGING • ADVENTUROUS
Through “Inside/Out” HSDC dancers are able to take on the role of choreographer as they create their own works and set them on fellow company members over a four-week period. The result is an amazing evening comprised of fresh and fun pieces that may ultimately be brought into HSDC repertoire and premiered in Chicago, such as Brian Enos’ Diphthong (2003), Lucas Crandall’s Gimme (2004), and Alejandro Cerrudo’s Lickety-Split (2006).
The 2010 “Inside/Out” choreographic workshop performance encompassed separate dance installations, which were performed in various galleries throughout the Art Institute of Chicago on Thursday, June 17. Click here to view photos from the event.
